Welcome to the blog, where resources are available to help you plan your best adventure yet!

Utah might be known for its red rock deserts and towering canyons. But for some couples, the idea of planning an elopement here comes with a few hesitations. As beautiful as this state is, it’s no secret that it can feel a little intimidating. LGBTQ+ couples often want to celebrate their love authentically. If you’re looking for an LGBTQ+ elopement photographer who’s not just affirming but downright thrilled to work with couples of all identities, you’re in the right place.
I’m Sarah—a full-time elopement photographer living life on the road in my campervan. My style is adventurous but laid-back, and I bring that same energy into every elopement I photograph. I believe in celebrating love exactly as it is, with zero expectations, full acceptance, and a ton of joy.
Let’s talk about what makes an inclusive elopement experience—and why Utah is still very much worth celebrating in.

It’s not just about snapping pretty photos. It’s about making sure every couple I work with feels seen, heard, and celebrated. Also, as a LGBTQ+ elopement photographer and ally, I understand how important it is to create a space where you can be fully yourselves—especially in places that don’t always feel that way.
Working with LGBTQ+ couples means knowing when to gently guide, when to step back, and when to hype you up so you can truly enjoy the moment without worry. Because yes, the desert views are epic. But what matters most is that you’re safe to be yourselves.
No forced poses, assumptions, or stress. Just real love in incredible places!
Utah is packed with insanely beautiful locations that are perfect for elopements. Whether you’re drawn to red rocks, alpine meadows, desert dunes, jagged mountains or hidden slot canyons, there’s a place here that fits your vision.
Here are a few of my favorite elopement locations:
As an LGBTQ+ elopement photographer with specialized experience in Utah, I’ve explored all these places (and more) and can help you find the best spots that feel perfect for you.

One of the best parts of my job is the people I get to work with. No two couples are the same—and I love that.
Some days, we hike into the mountains for a private sunrise ceremony. Other times, it’s climbing over red rock boulders, laughing the whole way through. Whether you want something chill, emotional, fun, or wildly adventurous, it’s all valid.
Plus, those moments in between—the goofy glances, the wind in your hair, the way your partner looks at you like no one else exists—those are the ones I love capturing most.

Let’s be real. Planning a wedding as a LGBTQ+ couple can sometimes mean extra steps. Additionally, you want to make sure your vendors are safe and supportive. You want to be confident that your ceremony location isn’t just beautiful, but welcoming too.
Here’s how I help with that:
And if things need to change last minute (thanks, weather), I’m flexible and ready to pivot with you.

I can’t say this enough: your love is worthy of celebration. You deserve photos that reflect who you are—your joy, your connection, your energy. That’s why I don’t just show up with a camera. I show up with my whole heart.
Being an elopement photographer means I’ve made it my mission to create space for every kind of love. Because for too long, wedding media and traditions have focused on a very narrow version of what love is “supposed” to look like.
That’s not how I work.
Whether you’re nonbinary, same-sex, trans, or anywhere on the rainbow, I want you to feel at home in front of my lens.

So, what’s next?
